HELOG Academy e.V. is a successor organization to the HELOG Aviation Group, inheriting over 40 years of expertise in helicopter operations and technical aeronautical services, primarily focused in Europe on the Alps and on operations in up to 17 African countries. Throughout its history, HELOG Aviation always maintained a strong commitment to Training and Capacity Building, which was a cornerstone of its management philosophy.
 
 Legally, today HELOG Academy e.V. operates as a German registered NGO, committed to providing Vocational and Technical Training, Technical Consultations and Capacity Building. HELOG Academy has demonstrated almost 13 years in Liberia it’s technical, financial, and organizational capacity and being able to implement innovative projects. The Management revers to over 40 years of experience in doing business in Europe and Africa. 
Since 2015, through its affiliate local NGO HELOG Academy Liberia, the conglomerate has trained more than 1200 individuals in Liberia either in one-year dual system courses or in daily, weekly, or monthly training sessions. These trainings were conducted in Liberia in own courses, for clients like GIZ, Bengo, USAID, World Bank, Liberia Transit Authority and Medlife Liberia.
HELOG and its team are very familiar with commercial processes due to its history and close relationship with highly technically and commercial oriented partners and companies.
 
“GREEN POWER DIESEL Liberia” is the brand name of the HELOG Academy project and is committed to driving sustainable energy solutions in Liberia by producing and delivering high-quality biodiesel.
 
GREEN POWER DIESEL will be a lighthouse project to research the production processes, company structures, the market and acceptance of this new fuel. The concept envisages that it can be expanded to industrial scale at any time.
